Yes that’s right!  Congratulations to Jan (21 - Will’s birthday) and Natalie (29 - my birthday).  I am busy creating your little munchkins - so you should get them soon!!!!!!!

If anyone else is interested in purchasing them - give me an email - they are only $10 USD - a great ay to stand out from the crowd!  I will senf you the file as a .png - they are quite large - so you can reduce the size without any loss in image quality.

I am still awaiting 12:00am May 1st - United States time!  That is around 6:00pm May 2nd for me - so at elast I don’t have to wait up all night to find out is I have won!  To be honest - I am not sure about me chances - the other 4 girls did some amazing LO’s - and although mine was a little different - I’m not sure that it is what the Sweet Shoppe is looking for!  Who knows!  Apparently the decision has been made - so good luck to everyone - and well done for making it thus far!!!

OK - so it has been a while - BUT I have been VERY busy!

Let me start off by introducing to you the MUNCHKIN!

These gorgeous spunky CUSTOM - made muchkins are avilable NOW! The princess is a ‘general’ munchkin - she has not been made for anyone in particular!  The top munchkin - ME, and the bottom munchkin - Trish Jones!

Yep - Easter is over and done for another year.  Now - if only I had enough will-power to eat less chocolate!  Grrrr.

Yesterday (EASTER SUNDAY) was a lovely day.  tTe girls and I met up with a mate of mine for lucnh - a 60 minute drive away - how did I amuse the girls in the car I hear you ask?  ‘The Cat in the Hat’ - that’s how!  I nearly know that DVD word for word!  I threw the portable DVD thingy into the back of the car, and the girls were set!!!!  WHen we got back home - my cuz Annabelle, and her fiance Louis had left a message to say they were down - so they popped over and helped up to finish off the yummo bag of prawns that were taking up valuable fridge space!  AND to top it all off - some other buddies came over for dinner and we all had fish and chips!  What a treat!

But of course - before all that happened - Madison discovered that the Easter Bunny had paid her a visit (at 6:00amhe made this discovery!).  Messy little bugger - he left lettuce, footprints and bits of his tail all over the house!

  This was Mackenzie’s first Easter that she ‘understood - sort of’!  She has discovered an affinity for chocolate - but doesn’t quite know how to get to it!!!! Credits can be found: HERE.

By the end of today though - she is a little champ at unwrapping mini-eggs and eats as many as she can find! 

We went out to the farm today, and Cath had hidden lots of mini-eggs around their house and in the trees - Madison had a great time hunting - holding onto her little basket.  Bringing up the rear - was Mackenzie - didn’t find many eggs - too busy discovering the delights of chocolate and unwrapping!  Photos to come at a later stage - hopefully they will be emailed to me!!!!  Gotta love digi!

Earlier this week - Mdison and I painted eggs- I have a number of photos from this occaision - but have obly scrapped one - and this is my new FAVOURITE layout (not that I even had an old favourite!!)

She was having such a wonderful time - acrylic paint everywhere - I think I managed to capture her happiness and concentration with theis snap!  Credits for this one can be found HERE.  I am really happy with this one - I really enjoyed the whole adding of fasteners to the page.  It really adds a whole new dimension - and gives plebnty to lok at.  I am wroking on an ESSENTIAL FASTENERS kit - coz I can never seem to find what I want when I want it - all at once.  If I throw everything together - hey presto - there it all is!!

Righto - back to normal tomorrow.  I have to really start thinking about what I am going to scrap for the third aasignment in the SYWTBASB contest over at SWEET SHOOPE.  I have a few ideas - and I was assigned a fantabulous mini-kit by Mindy Terawasa - so all will be schuweet (pardon the pun!) when I get it done!!!!!

…and it is still Easter Saturday!  AArrgghhh!!!!!!

Hey - guess what - I made the TOP 9 in the so you wanna be a sugarbabe contest over at the Sweet Shoppe!  How happy am I! HERE is the post that gave me the great news!  Oh oh oh, and I guess I should show you the LO::

It helps that I have such adorable girls to use as subjects!!!  The kit I used was Mindy Terawasa’s BEAUTIFUL ME KIT.  It is such a happy gorgeous kit - perfect for the message I wanted to portray.  The journalling reads as follows:

Whaddya reckon?  (that was the true Aussie voice coming out in me!!).  I am loving Illustrator and Photoshop!  A while ago - I thought PSCS2 and I were going to be enemies forever - we have now come to some sort of agreement.  I am not sure what it is - but hey - it seems to be working!

OKAY - have to go and leave a secret Easter Bunny trail!  Madison left out some lettuce (no carrot left!) and milk for the little fellah - she’s hopeful!  Gonna put out the cotton balls for a tail, and the talcum powder for footprints!  Yay - I love being able to do this stuff for the girls - I am looking forward to seeing the looks of delight in the morning (which it nearly is NOW!).

Yummo - it’s getting to that time of year again where we indulge in copious amounts of sickly sweet beautiful chocolate, and then regret it later when our tummies are complaining!  Never fear - I have the perfect solution!  REASTER-REGGs!  Yep - that’s right - it’s a claytons egg - the egg you have when you don’t have an egg (did you get that?!)

Cyclone Larry category 5 hit the town of

Innisfail

on March 20 2006, devastating the town, and surrounding areas. Larry caused untold millions of dollars worth of damage. They are comparing Larry to Katrina (for those of you who don’t know a cyclone is the same as a hurricane) Weeks after the cyclone hit, clean up is still going on, they now have most of the town with power, however people are still sleeping in the streets, and there is no sewage as yet.

All money raised from this kit (except the hosting fee) will be donated to the victims of Cyclone Larry.

I had a great little conversation in the car with Madison today.  We were discussing what day it is.  I have been trying to teahc her about days of the week - here is the ’script’:

me - "what day is it today Madison?’

M1 - "Fwiday"

me - "no - it is the day before Friday - what day is before Frday?’

M1 - "bunny rabbit day" (we have been discussing how the Easter Bunny comes to visit soon!)

Me - "not bunny rabbit day yet - what day of the week is it?"

M1 - "shocyate (chocolaet) egg day" - (has this kid got a one track mind or what!!)

Me - "no - that’s soon - what DAY is it?"

M1 - "ith NOW Mummy"

Of course - silly me! Then I told her what day it was and she said "yeth Mummy - I know!".  Love her work!

I had a little spending spree today!  I bought two books:

PHP & MySQL Web Development (no picture - Typepad is having a hissy fit!).

OK - so they are not exciting - but I tell you what - they ROCK!  I cannot wait to get stuck into them.  The Dreamweaver book is a gem - everything I can’t work out for myself - it’s right there!  The PHP book - yeppers - I want to design php-based sites - so this book is great.  My current course only covers non-dynamic web design - a real pain in the neck.  I want more than that - so I will teach myself!

I also bought the girls some cute little bunny PJ’s.  They are all-in-one rompers, and really - Madison is nearly too big for hers - I will cut the sole of the foot out of hers, and hem it - but they are both so cuddly am warm and cute - here - LOOK!~

 

This next one is Mackenzie having her afternoon nap - I love the bottom in the air, with the little hands peeping through her legs, pluus the cow, and frog near her head!

Apologies for the lack of photo editing!!!!!  Pure laziness on my behalf!  I also bought madison some spunky little jeans - they ahve a stitched pattern on them - not what I would normally buy - but they are really kewl, and Madison loved ‘em!  She also was lucky enough tyo get a pair of fleecey pants, and a long-sleeve top.  Poor kid - keeps growing out of everything!

Both the girls are having a second day in creche this week tomorrow - I won’t know myself!

Had a small altercation with DH tonight.  Apparently I use the girls as an excuse for not doing things.I can see where he is coming from - and yes maybe I do - Will says I need to tatto ‘just do it’ across my arms - so that i don’t let the girls run my life!  Hmm.  I didn’t make it to TKD tonight, and I feel really guilty.  my neck and back are still a little sore - and I am really stiff - so I didn’t want to aggravate it.  Anyhoo - I still feel bad that I didn’t go.

Yay - my second kit is uploading as I type!  I finally finished the elements….

I like it - it’s a little different - but who wants to be the same as everyone!  Althoug - being the same may have its advantages - since my total sales to date are a big fat ziltch.  Yep - that’s right - zippo, nada, zero! Minty mint hasn’t been a hit - althoug - to be honest - I haven’t done any advertising - so what would I expect.  It seems that no-one really reads this here bloggo - I am quietly chatting to myself!  Humpf!  Can you tell I am not overly fazed!  I am designing kits coz I enjoy it - it’s a great way to realx.  Sure - I’d love to make a million bucks - who wouldn’t - but nup - ain’t gonna happen!  I just want people to enjoy my creations, and to be able to preserve some happy memories!

OK - enough mish mash!  I went for a run today - pushing the double pram.  Let me tell you - it wasn’t easy!  The double pram is one of those ‘4WD" three wheeler joggger type gizmos.  It’s not too bad - although I did get the front end bogged, and the girls nearly wnet flying over the bar!  Luckily they were strapped in (I knew being responsible would be handy one of these days!).  Anyhoo - how heavy can two kids, and a pram be?  Geez.  I normally run a 5 minute 1km.  Today - I did 3km in 25 minutes - now you do the math!  Granted - I haven’t run for a L O N G time - maybe 5-odd months - but still!  If I was any slower - the snails would overtake me!  Oh well - at least I was out there!

It doesn’t happen often - and I’m sure Madison was planning her next move - but hey - there she is - immortalised in {quiet}!  All the papers and elements are from my {EXPEDITIONS & PROVISIONS} kit.  It will be available @ www.clickchicdesigns.com in the next day or so - I just need to add a few things!

WOW - second post in a day - Mackenzie stayed home with me today - she was in such a cranky mood.  Still not feeling herself - poor little thing.   The Doc, said to start her again on her Ventolin - she gets a horrendous cough and coughs until she makes herself gag on all the phlegm (is that a nice picture for you!).  Silly kid - if only she would spit it out - but No - back down it goes!  She’ll eat anything!
