You know who you are……. and I TOTALLY love my gerbera's, as do my girls…

 There's more – you can check 'em out on Flickr!  All of the photos have had Holly's Photographer's Assistant used on them in some way, and then I played in Lightroom, as well as using Itty Bitty Actions!

I still haven't got through – or even had a chance to 'start' my todo list from Sunday.  Stuff keeps getting in the way!

For example – today – I got spoilt!

 Check out that beautofully manicured nail!  AND – if I could reach my feet right now – you'd see those nails too!  Oh – and if I could – I'd show you my super smooooth legs!  Yep – mani, pedi and wax – all by a fantastic friend of mine!!  Thanks Sal!

AND – I had a little Croc splurge…..

Oh my – i LOVE them!!!!  They go wonderfully with my spunky nails!!!!

I was soo uncomfortable in my usual 'conversish' style shoes – they are flat – no supprt, and just plain uncomfortable – so I figured – well – why not be comfy somewhere on my body – it may as well be the feet – coz it's certainly not my pelvis, back or stomach!!!!!

Speaking of Heinz – I had my 32 week ob/gyn appointment with the lovely Dr H. yesterday.  He's such a gem!  Especially since he tol me he will induce me at 38 weeks- considering the amount of pelvic pain I am in!  I nearly jumped across the table and smooched him – but I figured that wouldn't be appropriate, and – I was physically unable to – since my high-jumping skills are somewhat limited right now!   That would mean Heinz would be 'out' around the 7th October! Only doing that is Wilbur has finished his current contract – otherwise I have to wait until the 40 weeks is up – coz it is M2's birthday smack on 39 weeks!!!!

Stuff.  Always happens when you least expect it!!!!!

Computers – were they put on this earth to hound us! I was under (the distinctly wrong) impression that they were meant to make our lives easier.  In what way would that be- may I ask?!  OK – don't get me wrong – I can understand how it would be for someone who didn't use a computer as their income-earning tool – yes – life could be easy and stress-free – just check an email or two – and whammo!  BUT – (there is always a BUT) – for the entrepreneurial soul that I am a computer is a necessary evil.  VERY necessary.  There's not alot I don't use it for – and when someone has the nouse to come out with one that gives birth, changes nappies, does the cooking and cleaning – well – I'll pretty much have it all covered!  until then – I'll do the best I can with my very own body!

Anyway – I digress….

My computer – let's call it umm – Henry – is having a bad day..  Actually – a bad few months – but let's not hold that against him. (I do – but if I whisper it – he might not hear me and get offended!) henry is getting slower and slower in his old age (apparently 3 years is old for a computer – he's past his mid-life crisis, and is due for some sort of corrective surgery – he's NOT getting it!).  I run various programs all at once on Henry – Photoshop, Illustrator, Smart FTP, Outlook, Dreamweaver – you know – the usual stuff of a person designing and maintaining websites, and digital designs, and editing photographs.  henry is getting to the stage where he is not happy.  he is having a conflict of interest with Photoshop – and freezes at least once every 10 minutes.  Lovely for my workflow.  Then – today – he has the complete and utter gall to inform me that I cannot 'capture video from my device, as the device is not detected'!  Hmm – not happy Henry.

It's a pity – coz I captured M1 singing 'happy little vegemites' and was going to 'webify' it for Wilbur to check out – but no such luck – although I do have another trick or two up my sleeve.

BUT – this doesn't solve the Henry problem.  I am truly in the market for THIS. I have been for a LONG LONG time now – but it seems to be getting urgent.  Tasks that would normally take me 5-10 minutes to complete – are taking longer (and that doesn't count trying to get my children fed and dressed – but that's a whole other story!).  I just finished a phone call with the bloke that sold me Henry – he does 'try' to help – really he does – and his best advice was to 'reformat'!  yeah – like I have time for that!!!!!  Soo – for now – it looks like Henry and I will have to learn to get along – and maybe make a few minor adjustments so that we can live together in harmony.

Okay – so that was yesterday!!!!  

It's now today (funnily enough!), and henry and I are starting over.  We managed to sort out the whole 'capturing video' thing – I uninstalled a device and reinstalled – and all is hunky-dory!  Now I just need to get it into a blog post!  I was over it at around 5pm last night – so Henry got turned off for a sleep. Maybe later today – coz I still have to catch up on the list of things to do thatI still haven't done – PLUS all the new things to do that arise each day.  Is it just me – or is the to do list never-ending!!!

I think I'll do another!  Although – I still have a few things left over froom yesterday that i need to do – coz – well – life got in the way!  I ended up making a batch of dark malteaser cookies (yummo – is it ok to have cookies and watermelon for dinner – the way I see it – I was nearly getting all of the 5 food groups!).   Today's list won't be so pretty – coz I am OVER how slow Photoshop is working at present!

1. Edit the photos from Saturday!
2. finish uploading to FPD (no – no new Worm this week – next week maybe!)
3. Finish Capturing Memories Blog
4. Finish another photog. blog
5. 5. Pay bills – already done!
6. Ring long list of poeple written in my diary
7. Sort out which school I am going to send M1 to next year!!!  (more on that later!)
8. Ob/Gyn appointment!!!!!!
9.  Maybe scrap some pages (yeah right!)
10. Do the clean up HD and EHD thing (surely that won't get done today…..)

Okay – so is that enough stuff!  lucky the girls are in creche today – so it is my day to get stuff done – without feeling bad that i am neglecting my children!

I also HAVE to do a mini-shop – you know – the sort of shop you don't want to do – but have to – coz without it you'd end up having dry weetbix in the morning, and using newspaper to wipe your bottom.  ahhh – the joys…….. 

 

 

………… or maybe I won't get any of these things done – coz it's a beautiful morning, and it is going to be 25'C today – perfect for just doing nothing – or taking photos, or…………………………………  the list goes on………………….

Was another lovely day!  WOWSERS two in a row!

M2 had Kinder today, and then went to play at S's house.  Lovely.  M2 fell asleep on the couch at around 11:15am for around an hour – bliss! (this was after doing a quick shop for essentials like watermelon – can't get enough of it right now, nappies, wipes – etc!).  then i fiddled – washing and stuff, and played with my gerberas, camera, duaflex (no good TTV's today!), M2,my belly and Adobe Lightroom!

Okay – so yesterday was a gorgeous day.  The sun was out – everything was fresh and clean (apart from the clothes in the wash!), and I was feeling good…..until…..M2 let out a scream, clutching her little ear.  Poor little thing. 

Luckily today was visit Dr L. day for a BP check – so we offloaded M1 to S's house (again!), and trotted to Dr L's.  yep – she has two very 'pink' ears.  Dimetapp to the rescue – unless she starts really screaming – and then we move onto antibiotics.  her BP was nicely stable, but since her cardiologist has requested that we 'up' the dose – now she has her high BP medication morning and night.  I tell you – this child could open her own pharmacy sometimes!!!!!  Anyway – she seems to be doing ok this morning!

After Dr L – we picked up Miss M1 from S's, and went on a mission to sell some of the fundraising chocolates for Kinder (you know – the Mars fundraising little boxes!).  We stopped off at the Yard where Wilbur used to work, and managed to get rid of half the box!  Yippee.  I *hate* fundraising stuff!!!!!  Drives me mad – but we have to do it for the Kinder.

Then – coz it was such a nice beautiful day – we had chippies on the beach (yummo – a wee bit undercooked – but yummo never the less!).  After lunch I used the opportunity to play TTV and just generally take photos….

 

 

 

 

 

 

 All in all – a lovely time was had.

Oh – the only bugger to the day happened at around 11:42pm last night when I was awakened by the car alarm going off.  WHAT!!!!!  I wasn't about to go outside and check it out – so I turned if off through the window, and went back to bed – worrying about what might have happened to turn it on in the first place – coz Hervey (dog) hadn't barked at all.  i checked first thing this morning, and it seems that M1 hadn't closed her door properly last night when we came back from S's house after dinner.  Aarrgghh – all those scary thoughts I had about nasty people trying to get in – all gone!!!!!  Yay!  AND at least there was nothing wrong with the electrics of the car!!!!!

Ok – long rambly post over – time to have breakfast and do stuff……..

Well – actually I have a couple – but this one I purchased today….

 

 

A Bialetti Milk Frother.  Now – I don't drink coffee – but I don't mind a hot chocolate every now and then – made with Milo of course!  I hate just heating the milk up in the microwave and then drinking it – and have always thought about being about to make frothy hot chocolate!  But – the expense of a coffee machine is totally not necessary.  So – I stumbled across this today in my local deli (sell the MOST delicious ham – mmmmm!!!).  the lady at the counter assured me it was fantastic.  She was correct!  This thing is fantastic – and I can heat the milk up on the stove if I want – as it is teflon.   Such light fluffy yummy milk.  I am a happy camper!!!!

Okay – so my other new toy (this one purchased on ebay) is a Kodak Duaflex I vintage camera!

Here's my first few TTV 'experiences':

 

 

It seems that 'Baby' was alot more co-operative than my girls in having their photo taken!  I need to practice some more – focus is hard, and I REALLY need to pull the Duaflex aprart and give it a good clean (see all the dirty spots!) – but on the whole – I am somewhat happy with my first couple of attempts!!!!! 

 Okay – so I scrapbooked a page yesterday – it was jolly hard work – I have lost all scrapbooking mojo – I guess I am struggling to find a style – or at least something that I am happy with…..

I used the new Catscrap Celebration Collab kit for their blog challenge and 1 year celebration. Loving their store right now!!!!! (Actually I always love their store – but I have never really had the opportunity to shop – but thanks to the Worm – I was able to have a little splurge!).

I really need to scrap some more – my girls are growing up so fast – I also NEED to pint out some or all of my photos!  they are sitting on my hard drive, and Wilbur is always on at me to print them!!!  True true true!  He is soo right – doesn't happen often!!!  Love you Wilbur!  (he reads this – so I have to be somewhat nice to him!!!!!)

That's enough rambling for now – my eyes are needing a set of matchsticks…… and it is only 8:45pm!!!!!!!

…other designers 'copying'.  I understand that we don't have exclusive rights to ideas – but when things are nearly exactly the same – it makes me wonder.  And from someone who I would have thought should have known better.  There – my little rant is over – usually I keep quiet – but today – I thought I'd speak!

I am still here….just!  I feel like I am drowning in stuff!  Nothing major – but enough to say that there will be no Worm this week.  I will be adding  font services to the store this week though!  So make sure you check that out!!!!!!!

Umm – kids – not much to say really – they are both angels (* cough cough *).  Apparently you are not allowed to throw them in the bin – which is lucky for M1 – coz I tell you – she knows which buttons to press to make an emotionally tired, very pregnant mother lose patience – awfully quickly!  Anyway – I am in the middle (or really – about to start) reading The Good Child – so hopefully that will help both of us understand what we want and need from each other.

Being Saturday today – it is dancing day – not for me (ah – but what a laugh that would be – picture a gangly giraffe with a big belly on a ice rink – and that's me dancing!) – but for M1.  Actually – she's a bit giraffe like too!  Then she's off to a friends house (I think!) and M2 and I will go and photograph something!!!!  Maybe the park!

Oh – we have a phantom wee*er!  Yes we do.  twiew I have woken up early in the morning to go to the toilet (ahh – the wonders of the third trimester!)  and stepped in a puddle of w.e.e. right at the toilet door.  Not a nice feeling in my bedsocks.  Can't be M2 – she is in a nappy.  M1 – hmmm – maybe sleepwalking!  Not sure – she would have to do a pretty darn good job of getting out of her PJ's (sometimes PJ's are a full warm zip up suit -feet included ensemble!), weeing on the floor, and then getting back into her jammies.  I mean she's good – but surely not THAT good – and in her sleep?!  Surely I would hear her – our house is super small after all- and she generally wakes me up when she goes to the toilet anyway.  So – I conclude we have a phantom wee*er.  

Okay – time to go and enjoy the day!
