All at once!  Life is good - especially when you can daydream about polky.  Oh gosh - what am I on about!  It has been a very busy few days (actually weeks - and it’s not going to let up anytime soon - just how I like it!) lately.

For those that don’t know - I do dabble in a bit of digital scrapbook design.  Just another thing to make me busy and keep my brain a-moving.  It is National Scrapbooking Day on May 3rd.  Lovely.  It’s an American thing.  So - us digi-scrappers (I use the term US VERY loosely - since I haven’t scrapped a single page all year!) celebrate too.  How homely. I have been somewhat absent from the digi-scrapping community for some time - it’s called being busy with real life types of things.  Baby making and having takes up ALOT of time.  Not something to do if you have a couple of minutes to spare one sunny afternoon - it’s actually time-consuming - and mind and heart consuming - but that’s another story!  Anyway - I thought I’d whip up a kit or two for the occasion.  WHIP Up is another loose term - it’s not like it took that same amount of time to create as it does to whip up a cake - no siree!  Especially when I am working on umpteen photographers blogs all at once.

Anyway - this is what I came up with….

’smile and wave’ - that"s pretty much what I do to Mackenzie!  She is three and a half now (exactly I might add!), and she still has her own language. She chats away to me - or anyone really, and sometimes I just can’t understand what it is she is saying - ’smile and wave’!!!!  She is having her 3.5yo assessment next week.  needless to say I have been valiantly trying to cram shapes, numbers, colours and stuff into her head!  I think we’ll be in the most strife with the ‘eating neatly’ part.  Watching Mackenzie eat is akin to watching a - umm - I don’t know - think of something REALLY messy that tried to stuff EVERYTHING in as if it is the last thing she will ever eat!!!!

Oh oh oh - I have so much to say - but I need to post a couple of pictures for a family tat I know are waiting on them - so here are the G’s!!!!

There are more - but I really NEED to get going - time to do early morning ‘letsgetreadyforschooland seehowrushedwecanbecozmummywasblogging’!

today is a good day…

Actually - every day is a good day - it’s just that I don’t always vocalise it.  Maybe I should!  Things are rolling along at breakneck speed here - but it is a SAFE breakneck speed.  I like it.  I  do however have some washing that is in desperate need of hanging out - I am beginning to think though that it will need another wash - it’s starting to get that ‘I have been in the basket wet for too long’ smell about it!  Oops.  That is not part of my ‘get things done straight-away’ plan that I have going on right now!  Live and learn.

I am loving that little picture. It is totally Murphy at the moment.  She LOVES to capture as much ’stuff’ in her mouth as possible, and doesn’t care how wet she makes EVERYTHING in the process.  Oh to be nearly 6 months old again.  Has it been that long!

Madison had school photos yesterday.  I sent her off to school with gorgeously straightened hair.  She was very cute, and under strict instructions to no play with it until after the photos.  Oh, and while she was at it - to smile a happy smile, not a ‘oh gosh - here is my fake show all my teeth smile’ that I get so often.  Actually - just enjoy the fun!!!  She’s in bed next to me right now - wiggle wiggle wiggle.  Can little children NOT sit still.  What is the go with that.  It is 6:24am - she should be asleep.  But no - my children like to be up early.  Not a bad thing.  I have been awake since 5:15am - I am finding that if I have had a good night’s sleep (like last night - 9pm - 5am - fabulous), I am better off getting up early and doing stuff rather than going back to sleep and being cranky when a small child wakes me up an hour or so later!  THAT can wait until the weekend.  No crankiness here!!!!

Plenty to do today - run run run (without the pram - woohoo - the little M’s are in creche together for two and a half hours - lovely), and then a quick powerbar session.  Loving those endorphins.   Come home and attack a drop down menu on a site with vigour, then complete the wonderful Blogs of Photogs and Amanda Haynes redesigns and get ‘em uploaded.  Oh - the 5D comes out to play today - having a mini-session with a gorgeous family.  Yay for them and me! Fight off this niggly sore throat - lemon and honey drink here we come!

Hmm - somewhat busy at the moment.  School started yesterday, and I was determined not to let this happen.  We did REALLY well - right up until Murphy completely and utterly filled her nappy- three minutes before leaving time, which necessitated and complete change of both inner and outer wear!!!!!!  Oh well - at least I know she is eating well!
