we have crawlage! - updated with footage!

Yippee!!!  It’s slow – but she is definitely moving!  By Monday too!  So – it’s been a total of maybe umm – 3m altogether, over the space of 1 hour – speed racer here, but – at least she is finally doing it!  You go Murphster!

Here she is – live TV folks – check out the speed – and the pose – and the outstanding finish!

the mini-M's

These two have mischeif written all over them.

Actually – Kenzie has ALOT of texta all over her.  Looks like she has green chicken-pox.  She did it last night whilst in bed – all up and down her legs, and all over her feet.  She even managed to put her socks bak on in the dark after the deed was done!  The toilet seat even has green spots!  A little disturbing I must say!

The Murphster is going to crawl by Monday.  We are not sure WHICH Monday though.  She is starting to go forwards now – in a weird sort of way, by using her head and feet.  Totally unconventional, and oh so SLOW.  Not at all energy efficient.  No wonder she has to stop in the middle of the 50cm dash to the remote control for a rest and a quick thumb-suck!

These are two of the most gorgeous little girls – both with strong personalities! Thanks H’s for letting me ‘borrow’ them!

Yay for kara.jo photography.  I stumbled across Kara on Flickr, and created some blog{ART} for her.  Kara was a pleasure to work with, and pretty much said ‘yes’ to any idea I ran across her!  Enjoy your blog Kara!

things

I have a new friend.  It’s a Thing. In fact – its called ‘things‘.  Things is helping me keep stuff in order.  I am a BIG fan of things.  Check it out.

As usual – I have been super busy bee.  Two new blogs have been launched – lch photography and design, and kara.jo photography.

Photo shoots – sneak peeks are a-coming!

Hmm – life in general has been a whirl of non-stop – which may eplain why I started this post at 5:40am, and it is now 6:17am – and this is as far as I gotten!  Wilbur is still home.  Not that there is anything wrong with that – but it would be ‘handier’ if he had two working hands.  He had surgery on his right index knuckle last Friday – it is now held together by wire and stitches.  Yep – that’s my Wilbur – if you are going to do something – make sure you do it ‘good and proper’!!!  So – he is in a fair whack of pain poor man – and to top it all off – his back is giving him grief too. Men.

Hmm – that image above – I’ll let you in on a little secret.  I *may* have been driving when I took it.  Just with my point and shoot – and I was stopped at the tie – so that’s not really driving is it?  How could I NOT capture that sky and glow!  I was definitely out of the car for these next two!

Okay – so we were trying to get Mackenzie to say her full naem the other day – Mackenzie – how hard can it be for a ‘justaboutfouryearold – ohmygodwhendidshegetsobig’ to say.  She calls herself ‘Kenzie’ – which is fine – coz that’s pretty much what we call her.  I said to her ’say Mackenzie’, and her reply: “I NOT Fat Kenzie”!  I dissolved into laughter.

Hmm – it seems that my peace and quiet is over – 6:30am, and the M’s are bouncing about.

Once again – I was fortunate enough to photograph the G family.  The weather held off – sort of – and we had a great old time.  Here’s a couple of super sneak peeks….

Thanks for being a whole lotta fun!

it’s been a while

it's been a while

Yes – that’s right – I am gulping.  need. more. air.  I am not sick – not at all.  Just a wee bit tired!  Flat-out busy.  Behind.  I don’t like to be behind.  i don’t mind being busy at all – it’s great.  Behind – not so great.  I’ll just have to suck it up and deal with it though. No worries.

Wilbur came home unexepectedly last week.  At 9am, at an airport that is a good couple of hours away from us.  not problem, we are super early birds – so up we got and picked him up.  He has a broken knuckle.  Actually no – not broken – smashed into little pieces knuckle.  Apparently someone kept head butting his hand!  Well – I guess when some bloke ambushes and comes at you with a steel pole – what are you meant to do. The steel pole holder won’t be doing that again to my Wilbur that’s for sure.  So – he is home for the next 8 weeks or so.  Unable to drive. Let me clarify – he is physically able to drive, but legally is aother story.  Why is it that Wilbur = TROUBLE.  He accrued too many demerit points over the last three years, so decided t suspend his licence for three months – made ttal sense – he wasn’t even going to be in the country.  Not so.  Meet the taxi drver!!!!  I dislike driving at the best of times – I minimise it.  Argh!  let’s think of it as QUALITY time together!  Gotta love him for keeping me well and truly on my toes!

I haven’t even had a chance to play photographer, let alone BE photographer.  I have had a little play with these fabulous presets from Dale.  Check out her  presets group, and her flickr stream – AWESOME.  The presets are wonderful – bold and colourful.  Love ‘em.

An apple a day

the blog with moxie is launched

I had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of creating a blog for the gorgeouls lovely Chelsey.  I tell you what – this girl is a champ!  If I could – I’d wrap her up and store her in my cupboard and bring her out for lots of fun on a regular basis!  Unfortunately she lives in Canada – so there goes that idea!  Chelsey wanted a blog with a difference, something unique and not ‘out of the box’.  We had some fun, and came up with a great design.  Clean and simple with a focus on her fabulous images!  Thanks Chelsey for letting me create YOUR blog!  Enjoy
