This wedding was no exception. I recently photographed the wedding ceremony of the gorgeous Beth and Damian.  I cried.  More than once.  I think it was the beautiful prayers that did it.  Or maybe the love with which they looked at each other.  Or maybe I had something in my eye.

Thank-you for allowing me to photograph such a beautiful ceremony – it was a pleasure.

(you too can have a FABULOUS FAMILY REEL MOVIE! This was my Milla in the space of 10 minutes – imagine how AWESOME it would be to have your day in a REEL movie.)

Milla Macey is nearly 20 months.  She can scream like a banshee.  Louder than a banshee.  She has just learnt how to jump. She can eat double her weight in strawberries.  She weighs as much as a 30 month old, and is a tall as a 27 month old.  She is the skinniest looking gigantor I have ever seen.  She loves to snuggle and have special mummy time.  She says ‘hello Daddy’ to Wilbur over the phone.  She makes enough splash in the bath to be mistaken for five children at once.  She keeps me on my toes.  She knows what she wants, and isn’t afraid to get it.  She will push the other M’s out of the way if they dare to climb onto my lap.  She likes to eat standing up on a stool at the end of the bench. She has more hair than is necessary.  She sucks her thumb, and doesn’t care which hand it is.  She is a delight.  We LOVE her to bits.

We ‘whipped’ away to Buchan over Easter for a CCC.  For those not in the ‘know’ CCC = caravaning, camping, caving.  Umm – -just to be clear – we have never been caving before – I just liked the CCC sound!  For Christmas last year, we (NOTE: when I say ‘we’, it is actually a term meaning ‘I’!), decided that we should give Wilburs parents and sister a gift that is fun.  You know – something worth giving as opposed to a present that wold get tucked away and be forgotten about.  We (see NOTE!) googled up a storm trying to find a dog-friendly cap ground, and lucked upon Stonehenge Farmstay.  AWESOME find if I may say so myself.

We visited the Buchan Caves – note to self (and others) – screaming 16 month old and caves are NOT a good mix – especially when said caves require copious amount of stooping, and 16 month old requires carrying, or countless “ahh – don’t touch the stalactites”.  Both the Fairy Cave (“did you see the fairy wingsth Mummy”) and the Royal Cave are spectacular.  I could launch into a fabulously fascinating tale about stalactites and stalagmites, but I won’t.  Go and see for yourself!  The Buchan Reserve itself was gloriously autumnal.  The colours were divine. PERFECT for leaf throwing and galumphing.

The Farmstay was wonderful.  The piggy wigs and ducks will be super fat thanks to our scraps.  There was plenty to do, without there being a lot. We even threw in a quick trip to Bairnsdale Emergency to get Milla’s eye checked – it was looking a little dodgy, and since we only get one set of peepers, we thought it best to be safe than sorry.  All is well.

The Easter Bunny managed to find us.  Phew.  My girl-tribe managed to eat their weight in chocolate.  Knock yourselves out girls! Enjoy.  I managed to cook up a storm in Wilbur’s WeberQ – scones, pizza (totally from scratch – mmmmm), raspberry choc-chip muffins and chocolate self-saucing pudding.  Yummo.  We ate mighty well.

Throw in some cow chasing and wooing, and it was the PERFECT Easter!
