OK – I have jumped on the egger bandwagon – and here are my ‘egger’ thoughts……..
Hmm – there seems to be some division here in digi-scrap land!
Honestly – I believe that we should all be scrapping for whatever makes us happy – and if that is preserving memories, and love – then fantastic – or if we scrap to be published – great – or if we scrap to show off our designing / creating abilities to make money – then good on you – or if it a combination of all the above and more – BUT – remember – enjoy what you are doing.
It is not a competition or popularity contest. Some people who are relatively new on the digi-scrap scene may not be as well known / popular as others who have been around longer, and have already formed strong bonds in the community. Isn’t the philosophy of the eggers to bring everyone together – no matter how big or small – it’s not about who gets egged or who doesn’t, but enjoying the whole ‘process’ of scrapping, making friends, and just loving a wonderful community.
Let’s all get eggy with it, and enjoy the digi-scrapping community as a whole!
I have never been in any particular ‘in’ crowd, and I must admit it’s something that I have been known to "worry’ about! The digi-scrapping community is a big pond, and there are some fish that are bigger than others out there. I have only been digi’ing for a short time, and I can see there are some sharks (for want of an analogy!), and minnows – but hopefully everyone can live harmoniuosly together, and the sharks don’t eat up the little fish – because we all deserve to enjoy the wonderful hobby that digi-scrapping is – for whatever reason we do it.
AARRGGHH – enough rambling – you get th picture – JUST ENJOY it for what it is!
Now – I have to upload some pic’s I have been meaning to get here for a while:
This one is the girls enjoying the outdoors on Moonraker. They ahd a great time on the boat – Mackenzie wanted to get right on in the water – no way kiddo – shark bait for you!
This is Madison in full flight at her first ever swimming lesson! She’s certainly got some guts!
OK – this one is really cute – we went strawberry picking…and you are not supposed to eat any fruit out in the field………
This next one is just of the girls ‘lovin’ each other! They are such cheeky little suls, always keeping me on my toes!
This is Madison and Willas on Madison’s first dogem car ride! Not the best picture of Willy – but it captures the moment of ‘look at me mummy!"
OK – enough uploading photos just plain – I really need to scrap some instead – but I’m so slow at that – so I thought I chuck ‘em on here as is – completely unphotoshopped and in the ‘raw’!
I unfortunately didn’t have the camera handy today to caoture a fantastic moment (always the way!). Mackenzie is finally finding her feet, and she stood up for around 10 seconds. what a champ she is! It’s about time – but I guess whan you have a head that big – what can you do!!! She stood up with her pink toy ‘little people’ singing car (who makes these things – wait till I meet you Mr Fisher-Price!) in both hands, and grinned at me as if she had been doing it forever! Of course when I clapped and made a big hoo-haa – she promptly sat down, and gave me the ‘talk to the back’ treatment (where she sits on her bottom, and uses her legs to wiggle herself around in a circle until her back is faing me!). Mental note – this child does not want praise!!!!
