You know how it is when everything just isn't quite 'right'! nothing too major – but a whole heap of stuff all on top of each other that sort of keeps piling up, and then it feels like it is taking over! Yeah! or am I talking to myself…..again!
Wilbur is working in town at present – 2 hours away from us – and we only have the one car – since we finally had his beloved Corolla towed away (poor Will!). Since we do not live super close to any form of public transport – the girls and I a sort of STuck at home, and I am having to rely on other people to do the Kinder runs etc etc.
So – M2 woke up yesterday all grizzly and croaky – uh oh – sore throat. She ended up crying from 7:30am until around 10:00am – when I had organised for a friend to come and pick us up, and take us to the doctor! (thanks Jenny!). Didn't get to see our normal doctor – you know – the family one – the same doctor I have been seeing since I was knee-high to a grasshopper! After waiting for 45 minutes he sees us, and of course M2 gets hysterical -(coz he's not her favourite paediatrician that we have been seeing weekly for nearly 3 years – love your work Dr L.!), and dodgy Dr decides she has a temperature – well wouldn't you if you were screaming your little lungs out! Anyway – it's not tonsilitis – just an inflamed throat – off to Chemist with a script- $20 later – thank-you very much. I am still searching for the diamonds in the bottom of the medicine bottle! She was alot better today – still croaky, but we went for her weekly visit to Dr L, and of course M2 batted her eyelashes at him, and let him poke and prod to his heart's content! Fickle child!
M1 is having skin troubles. She has always had a little bit of eczema – and it flares up when she heats artificial foods. It is flaring up at present – simply because (my belief) she has been galivanting at friends houses a bit lately – and has therefore been eating more 'junky' stuff than she normally would. I don't give her any bad food – it's not worth the hassle. Poor girl – she has lots of little lumpy looking things all over her bottom and the tops of her thighs – at first glance I thought – chicken-pox – but no. Bugger. cortisone cream and moisturiser it is until it dies down. She also has a bit around her mouth. M2 is a huge thumb-sucker. To the point that her thumb has recently become crusty and yuk. So – I bought some 'stop n grow'. it is working a treat – she hasn't sucked her thumb in two days now! yay – now need to clear up the state of the thumb!
Umm – what else – oh feeling a little 'burnt' by a couple of people in the digi-world! it's unfortunate – maybe I am too sensitive – but that's how it goes I guess. Enough said.
Enough whinging stuff – here's some photos are took late last year of my girsl – but I have only just processed them! Thanks to Holly for the processing actions for PSCS2! Hmm- maybe not – I forgot to save them for the web – so they are a little large!!! Woops!!! Hang-on let me fix that – they are gorgeous photos! (even if I do say so myself!)
It seems that M2 didn't get much of a look-in this time! there's a million photos of both the girls on my HD – I really need to sort them all out!
Oh – oops – check out what was in my grab-bag at MDM! it's all in store now at normal price!!!!!
Yep – I had a super-full grab-Bag – so if you 'snoozed' you 'loozed'!!!!!
Thanks for sticking around to the end of the post!!!!!
