..that’s the noise my dear husband is making right now – coz he ate way too much roast farm. No – you are not mistaken – I did say roast farm, and yes – it very nearly was an entire farm. We went to his parents for Christmas yesterday, and had said roast farm for lunch today. Apparently roast at the Clark house does not just stop at a lamb, pig, cow or chook. Why decide to have just one, have ‘em all instead! Me – i am not a huge meat eater – so a bit of chook breast does me just fine – but Will on the other hand…. you’d think he has never eaten meat before. Dear lad – he’s now lying on the bed with a huge tummy ache. Serves him right for tinking that he needed to have not just seconds, but thirds of each animal, PLUS a santa stocking full of chocolate. All that mixed with way too many beers from last night – not a god mix!!!!! Ah well – he’ll be right after a nap.
Okay – so he turned up at 10:00am Christmas morning – I left a Santa hat out for him, and he snuck (is that a word!) in the back door. oh my – the girls nearly toppled him over with their love. It was gorgeous. By this stage, we had already opened up the presents that the lovely – but extremely messy Santa left. Hopefully next year – Mrs Claus will remind the jolly old man that it is not ‘good manners’ to allow your faithful steed to enter a strangers home (or any home for that matter), to consume carrots, oats, sprinkles and milk, and then have the audacity to leave a trail of said carrots, oats, sprinkles and milk from the table back to the front door. miraculously – the trail stopped at the door – didn’t go outside at all! How strange!!!!! Maybe by next year, Santa will have also learnt to chew with him mouth closed, and eat ALL the biscuits left out for him – not just a select few.
The girls were extremely spoiled by Santa – they each received a Barbie laptop (the big M’s), and a multitude of books, puppets and other fantastic imaginary stuff. M1 also received a camera – she absolutely LOVES it – maybe another photographer in the making! M3 wasn’t left out – check out this….

I am sure there are some more photos lurking around the hard drive – must sort them out.
